The Favorite Things List has been immortalized by Oprah herself. We couldn't resist asking O Magazine’s Kindra Hanson-Okafor what’s on her wish list this holiday season.

Kindra's 5 Favorite Things...

•  The Wisdom of Sundays, by Oprah Winfrey.

 

• NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Dragon Girl. I’ve been wearing red lipstick since the 6th grade, and this one looks beautiful on a variety of complexions. 

• A crockpot. It’s the gift that keeps on giving. Truly, a lifesaver. 

• Italian Leather gloves. Timeless classic and a staple this time of the year. 

• Alexis Bittar anything, but I really love the earrings. Everything is so beautiful and at great prices. 

• Stuart Weitzman Clinger Boots in white. Some say it’s a crime to wear white after Labor Day, but breaking “fashion rules” is what makes you unique!  

 

 

Kindra's favorite hostess gift...

 

• Raw Spirit essential oils in rose. It’s all organic and smells divine. 

 

Kindra's favorite thing to give girlfriends...

 

• The Gift of Fitness. Gift cards to Barry’s Bootcamp or Soul Cycle.

 

For her gorgeous husband...

Eileen’s cheesecake and some “just us” time. We have a 2-year-old, so we cherish any spare moments we can get.

• Planes, trains and automobiles. He’s obsessed! 

 

For a teenage girl (easy and tricky at the same time!)...

I love a great coverall, but I’m mixing it up and wearing comfortable pants instead. Helen Jon has a great fold-over beach pant!

The best gift I ever received was from my parents, who taught me through actions, that hard work and dedication would take me far in life.
