Spring Travel with Megan Grossman

Who doesn't love spring? We sat down with our friend, Megan Grossman, an Independent Travel Advisor with Huffman Travel, who shared some of spring 2023's hottest travel destinations. And we've made packing easy by picking a perfect outfit for each location.

Click the image for each property to shop its edit, and click on the resorts' names to view their websites.

Thank you, Megan! We personally can't wait to visit these amazing picks.

Cap Juluca, a Belmond Hotel (Anguilla) Cap Juluca, a Belmond Hotel

Cap Juluca, a Belmond Hotel, is a fantastic choice for both families and couples looking for white sand and turquoise water. The best thing here is that every accommodation is seconds from the beach and boasts an ocean view! I love the super cool, vintage Citroen food truck on the beach with live music during the day, and, every evening, guests can join the hotel manager at sunset for a champagne sabering ceremony. Speaking of Belmond properties…you’d have to wait until summer, but I am super excited about the opening of the reimagined Maroma. It’s on one of the best beaches in Mexico and the previews are fabulous.

Sussuros del Corazon (Punta Mita) Sussuros del Corozon

Sussuros del Corazon is a new destination from Auberge Resorts Collection. It’s really a resort for all - romantic getaways for couples, wellness-focused girls’ trips, and families, too. It’s located on a secluded, pristine beach that is perfect for surfing, boogie boarding or just relaxing with a book and a cocktail. There is also a beautiful lake for a nice morning walk or run and bird watching. A must: the al pastor tacos at La Boquita, their open air restaurant with amazing ocean views.

Turtle Inn (Belize) Turtle Inn

Turtle Inn is as beachfront as it gets. Stairs from the cottages and villas lead directly to the powdery, white sand. One of Turtle Inn’s greatest charms is its intimate scale which makes for a truly relaxing beach vacation. No fighting for beach chairs (the beach staff will set them up for you upon request) or pressure to book activities and reservations in advance (you can plan day-to-day after you arrive). For couples and families who want to add a little adventure to their trip, I love combining Turtle Inn with its sister property in the mountains, Blancaneaux Lodge.

Jumby Bay Island (Antigua)  Jumby Bay Island

Jumby Bay Island is a private island that sits just a 10-minute boat ride from Antigua. It’s perfect for couples and families seeking hidden luxury. Jumby Bay takes all-inclusive to a new level--their house champagne is Moet & Chandon and even boat and snorkeling trips are included experiences. Kids and adults love cruising around the island on bikes or golf carts. They offer fun pop-up dining, including farm-to-table/sea-to-table dinners at the island’s farm.

Rosewood Miramar Beach (Montecito) Rosewood Miramar Beach

Rosewood Miramar Beach (Montecito) is great for quick getaways and for travelers who prefer to stay stateside this spring. Montecito is uniquely tucked between the mountains and the beach so you can experience both in the same day! Couples can visit nearby wineries for tastings and lunch and then return for a nap on the beach. For families, they are offering complimentary daily activities this spring like ice cream sundae decorating, bubble hour, and star gazing with s’mores. The Beach House rooms are just a dream!
